About CMBA Ontario

CMBA Ontario provides mortgage broker professionals with a forum to work cooperatively, better share resources, branding initiatives, programs and information and coordinate engagement of members to identify trends and develop solutions to common industry and regulatory issues. At CMBA Ontario we also offer education for all levels of experience! From the Mortgage Agent Course for newcomers to the industry, to the newly acquired Underwriting course, Private Mortgages course, the Broker course as well as, the Continuing Education course for those renewing their license.

Role of CMBA Ontario

Represents members to federal government, its agencies and other government bodies on issues of national importance

Promotes a national legislative agenda which supports
a vibrant mortgage broker and partner sector

Provides technological infrastructure, advertising material, brand awareness, to support provincial associations and their members

Enhances member professionalism and ethics by providing national standards and trademarks representing quality and integrity

Role of Provincial Associations

British Columbia	Represents its members to the provincial government, its agencies, licensing bodies and regulators on issues of local importance
Alberta	Represents its members to the provincial government, its agencies, licensing bodies and regulators on issues of local importance
Saskatchewan	Engages in political action at the provincial level with provincial government and regulators
Manitoba	Engages in political action at the provincial level with provincial government and regulators
Ontario	Delivers licensing and continuing education course to the industry as well as networking and professional development opportunities through symposiums, webinars, trade shows, conferences and social events to members. Collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance the mortgage broker industry through education, advisory and government relations.
Quebec	Delivers licensing courses and continuing education to members
Atlantic Canada	Provides networking opportunities to members though seminars, trade shows, golf tournaments and conferences
