Private Lending: Solution or Shortcut? with Jerry Wieliczko & Garry Jhamb at Hosper Mortgage

Join Jerry and Garry for an educational session on the strategic and responsible use of private lending in today’s mortgage environment. This webinar will examine how brokers should position A-lenders as long-term solutions, B-lenders as transitional options, and private lending as a tactical, short-term tool, always structured around a clearly defined exit strategy.

We’ll review when private lending through MICs and individual lenders is appropriate, key use cases such as urgent closings, credit challenges, or power-of-sale prevention, and the importance of aligning product choice with a borrower’s timeline, equity position, and path to repayment.

Attendees will leave with a clearer framework for using private lending strategically, responsibly, and with a well-defined exit plan.
