2025 Awards Nominations

 

Thank you for your interest in nominating someone for the 2025 CMBA Ontario Awards.
Reminder that nominees must be Members of the association for at least 1 year with the exception of our Hall of Fame award. Nominations will be open from January 6, 2025 until February 7, 2025.

Winners will be announced at the Gala and Awards Dinner on March 26, 2026. Good Luck!

2025 Awards Nomination Form
Provide a detailed explanation of why the individual or company should be nominated (minimum 100 words).
Select the award for which the nomination is being made.

Award Descriptions: 

Lender of the Year:
This award recognizes a company that offers and promotes outstanding products and support to the industry. The recipient represents evolved thinking and innovation in the broker industry, raising the bar in professionalism and standards.

Brokerage of the Year:
This award honors a brokerage that has demonstrated exceptional experience and service for its clients and/or agents.

Service Provider of the Year:
This award recognizes the most supportive service provider in the industry. A staple champion and advocate for the community, this service provider consistently makes a positive impact through their services and contributions.

Outstanding Young Achiever Award
This award recognizes a young professional in the mortgage industry who has demonstrated exceptional promise, innovation, and leadership early in their career. The recipient has achieved significant accomplishments, made meaningful contributions to the industry, and exemplifies the values of professionalism, dedication, and forward-thinking.

Community Service Award:
This award celebrates a mortgage broker or agent who has demonstrated an exemplary level of public service within their community. (Individual OR Company can be nominated)

Ed Karthaus Professional Integrity Award:
This award honors a mortgage professional who willingly adopts and consistently applies the knowledge, skills, and moral values of the mortgage industry, demonstrating the highest level of professional integrity.

The CMBA Ontario Hall of Fame celebrates extraordinary individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the mortgage industry in Ontario. This prestigious honor recognizes professionals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have left a profound and enduring impact on the industry.

Nominees should exemplify:

  • A remarkable career demonstrating excellence and significant achievements.
  • A commitment to advancing the mortgage profession through integrity, innovation, and collaboration.
  • A lasting influence on peers, clients, and the broader community.

 Note: People nominated for the Hall of Fame do not have to be members.
