Rob was The Globe and Mail’s personal finance columnist for 27 years, then began a new career phase as a speaker, writer and consultant specializing in personal finance strategy.
Rob in his career has seen a lot – multiple bull markets for stocks, a couple of recessions and stock market crashes, one global financial crisis, a pandemic, a trade war, the incredible rise of the housing market, soaring personal debt loads, roaring inflation and an ever-present worry that Canadians aren’t saving enough for retirement.

Nicole Christy is the CEO of the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB), bringing extensive experience in organized real estate, housing policy, government relations and association leadership. Before joining OREB, she served as Vice-President, Corporate Governance and Leadership Development at the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® (LSTAR), where she helped guide members through major industry changes, including legislative reform and the transition to a new MLS® ecosystem.  Nicole worked on housing policy and government relations for leading national organizations including the Canadian Real Estate Association, Federation of Canadian Municipalities and Canadian Home Builders’ Association. Known for her collaborative and forward-thinking approach, she brings a strong understanding of the policy, technology and market forces shaping the future of real estate in Canada.

VP, Government and Housing, Equifax Canada

James Robinson is a 24-year veteran of Equifax Canada, where he currently oversees relationships with the Government, Mortgage, and Alternative Financial sectors. Throughout his tenure, he has directly managed relationships with key Canadian government and regulatory bodies, including the Bank of Canada, OSFI, Finance Canada, FINTRAC, and CMHC. In the last decade, he has significantly increased his focus on the Mortgage industry, working closely with the Brokers, Lenders, and Insurers. Before joining Equifax, James had a successful career in IT consulting.
