Conduct Continuing Education Course for Ontario Broker & Agent licenses

CMBA Ontario presents the CMBA Ontario Conduct Continuing Education (CE) Course for the 2025-2026 Licensing Cycle, accredited by FSRA.

All Ontario broker and agent licensees must complete their conduct CE course to renew their licence by March 31, 2026.

  • AGENTS must complete Part A.

  • BROKERS must complete both Part A & Part B.

– Part A Course description:

This course provides all licensees in the Ontario brokerage industry the necessary information on updates regarding the following topics:

  1. Business Ethics and Managing Conflicts of Interest
  2. Mortgage Fraud
  3. Mortgage Suitability
  4. Cybersecurity

In addition, licensed BROKERS must complete a separate training component that covers the responsibilities of a Principal Broker to ensure it is upholding its responsibilities, due diligence regarding mortgage suitability and cybersecurity protection at the brokerage, and mortgage administrator’s filing requirements.

Duration: 5 hours for Agents; 7 hours for Brokers

Course Completion:

You will need to complete all case studies and multiple-choice questions to obtain your certificate of completion. The certificate will be available for download once you have completed the online course.

Reporting to FSRA:

All licensees are required to report directly to FSRA. You must advise your Principal Broker and you must submit your license renewal to FSRA directly.

Refund Policy:

There are no refunds once the online course has been accessed.
